#AskTheExpert hello doctor. is it advisable to clean newborn baby's tongue and nose? if yes, then what care should be taken? my son is 18 days old.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. you can clean the tongue of the child with a clean cloth wrapped in the finger and nasal blockage can be relieved by using nasal saline drops like nasoclear saline drops in the nose followed by nasal aspirator to take out the secretions very gently
steam inhalation can also be helpful in this condition
