Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. yes
simple fever , cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest.
the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advidsable not to delay the vaccination
if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination

Your vaccination can be done during the time of common cold and congestion so you should get it done now it’s only not advisable to be done during the time of fever but right now you can get it done and if any other medication the doctor suggest for cold and it would be good for the child
