#AskTheExpert hello doctor I'm 29 year old and breastfeeding mom of 1.6 year old baby.my skin around nipples area are becoming very dry and skin is peeling off regularly (everyday) so that it looks like a mark around nipples and colour looks dark red.i have shown this to doctor 3 months ago. she told it's just a infection and had given antibiotics and one ointment to apply..then it became normalnso stopped applying the ointmentl and now same problem started again. does it indicates any underlying problem or just a skin infections

A. Hi mom It is just a skin infection. Now u start to apply coconut oil on the nipples. Use pure coconut oil. The anti bacterial property of this oil will help to give relief. Apply it daily for best results. Take care
