#asktheexpert Hello Doctor! I have vaccinated my baby in the 6th week with a painless vaccination in a private hospital. Is it advisable to switch the entire brand of the vaccination now at the 10 week vaccination? How far is the government vaccination helpful? Will switching from private to government for vaccination is a good idea or not?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. you can go for either painless vaccine (acellular) or painful (cellular) vaccine because both have got same effectiveness and efficacy and immunity. painless vaccines usually do not cause fever while in painful vaccine fever and pain will continue for 2 or 3 days. according to your prefxerence you can choose any one of them.
