#asktheexpert hello doctor I have a thyroid In before pregency..after delivery my baby all tests are done thyroid also tested..and no thyroid..and if she have 7months by any chance thyroid will come to my baby plz tell me sir...I m very nervous feeling

A. no it is not necessary that your baby will get thyroid if you had thyroid before pregnancy also then there are chances that it may get transferred to your baby but in case if you had thyroid only during pregnancy it is mostly 99% not transferred
