#AskTheExpert hello doctor , i am mother of 2 childs of age 4 years and 1.5 year. I am taking dronis 30 from last one year as per my gynac prescription to avoid further pregnancy. And all things are going well . My Lmp was 31.03.2022 and i have started again dronis 30 from 3rd april i.e 4th day of period . But on 5th april the medicine was skipped and we had intercoursed. But on 6th morning as soon as i remmeber about the medicine , i have taken that and after that i am taking regularly. Please tell me is there any chance of getting comceive due to that one missed / late dose ?

A. A late period is when a woman's menstrual cycle doesn't start as expected, with a normal cycle lasting between 24 to 38 days. When a woman's period is seven days late she may be pregnant although other things may cause a late or skipped period.
