#AskTheExpert Hello doctor, i am a 25 year woman and I have a 4 year baby girl. my period lasts upto 7 days or more. I am a thyroid patient since last 5 years. please suggest me is there any severe problem.

A. it is normal to have peroid fr 2- 7 days ,only see tgat the flow is not much heavy that causing weeakness in you.if so need treatment fr the same .

A. Too much or too little thyroid hormone can make your periods very light, heavy, or irregular. Thyroid disease also can cause your periods to stop for several months or longer, a condition called amenorrhea.
