#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, I am 38 weeks 5 days pregnant. After internal check by my doctor, there is a discharged of white liquid irregularly but small in quantity from last 2 days. Is it normal or I need to visit doctor?

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. It's perfectly normal to have a mild-smelling milky white discharge even before pregnancy. (It's called leukorrhea.) There's just a lot more of it during pregnancy because your body is producing more estrogen, which signals the vagina to produce more discharge. Clear to milky white.
