Q.

#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor. Hope you are in good health. Am breastfeeding my son, I do have enough milk. After I feed him, he is hungry again within an hour only and not stopping crying. Am maintaining atleast 2hours of gap for feedings, however he is demanding milk within an hour of feed and doesn't stop crying. He barely slept since last night. Only being calm for few minutes and start crying again. He is 1 month 7days old. What must I do?

A. hi mam,it is normal for newborns to become hungry frequently. so please no need to follow particular timetable and amount. you should offer feeding as per your child needs. you should burp your baby on your shoulder in upright position after each feeding for 10 to 15 minutes. Along with that make sure your child feel comfortable while sleeping.
