Start by offering small amounts of solids once a day.. preffer day time to feed.
Follow three day rule.
Breastfeeding or formula feeding should continue alongside the solid foods, as they still form an essential part of the infant diet till 1 year.
Give vegetables (eg pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, carrot puree) fruits (eg cooked pears/apple, ripe banana) .
Moong Daal water, rice kangi.
Ragi porridge, rice porridge.
Deepika GuptaMom of a 15 yr 1 m old girl4 years agoA. hello. yes since your child is now 6 months old you can start with some form of solid food like soft fruits like banana and apple. I would suggest that before starting cerelac start with fruits only and one by one introduce some new food. also make sure that you start using a finger brush for your child's mouth hygiene and cleanliness. make sure that the brush is from a good company like"Babyhug".
