#asktheexpert Hello Doctor for 2 months baby can we keep a pacifier to avoid fingering?

A. there is no problem in using pacifier / nipple / teether/ soother if cleaned. the problem arises when it falls down and goes agfain inside the oral cavity of the child without proper cleaning and sterilization. if it is not cleaned and goes in the oral cavity can cause infection and cough and cold and loose motion

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. You can put cotton mittens on baby hands. Pacifier is not advisable as it is not good for baby gums. Please massage baby stomach with BabyHug coconut oil clockwise and anti-clockwise. You can also apply hing water on baby stomach. Also do some cycling leg exercises of the baby to relieve from constipation and gas. Please make the baby burp after every feed. Mother should chew saunf and ajwain after every meal.
