#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, can I feed water to my 5 months old baby? If yes how much in a day should I feed him?

Nandita BaranwalMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hi, No dear. I would suggest to continue breastfeeding till 6 month exclusively and don't forget to burp after every feed. Mother's milk contains more than 80 % water in it. Start giving semi solid and solid food, watery food or water once baby completes 6 month. You can start with few spoons of water .
