#AskTheExpert Hello doc...my son is 5months 15days old now...i started supplementary feeding when he completed 5 months as advised by my paediatrician...bcoz she thinks he is not gaining proper weight...his weight was 6.85kg on his 5th month birthday...is that ok to give supplementary feeding from 5th month onwards?

Mother should exclusive breast feed her baby till six months.
The weight gets double the birth weight by five months.
If ur paediatrician has suggested u to start with the solids, the no need to worry. Follow ur doctors advice
