#AskTheExpert Hello Doc, my 13mo is only 9.5kg. He is very active and have timely reached his milestones. Is he underweight?

A. it is important for you to know that the weight of the child depends upon the genetic patterns and by that pattern only the weight gain in child is seen. it also depends upon the diet the child is taking. so it is advisable that you should meet the doctor who will tell you whether there is anything to worry or not and whether the child requires any health supplements. the child should be given differenst flavours and recipes made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily in small amount. you can adds ghee groundnuts dryfruits in the diet and this will help in improving the weight of the child. you can go through many recipes for children in different flavour and taste for your child on firstcry

A. Hi parent if your child is happy and healthy and active and take proper sleep and food then no need to worry about it please include natural probiotics and dairy products and green leaf veggies and fruit and different seeds and nuts please maintain hygiene properly with Babyhug multipurpose cleaner
