Q.

#AskTheExpert Hello Doc, My 13 months young boy stopped feeding, even not taking milk which he used to consume 0.5-1 liter in a day from last 15 days. Is this normal or we need to consult the pediatrician physically or you can help in this matter. I am in rural area so not sure about the availability of good pediatrician in my area.

A. it is not like that. you have to see the range for age and if the weight is in the range for age then there is no need to worry. the weight you have quoted is normal for age

A. Not exactly but he would of around 12-13kg He was of 10kg in his 9th month

A. it is advisable to get the weight gain of the child assist and the weight can of the child is within normal limits there is no need to worry about the feeding pattern of the child
