#AskTheExpert hello doc I have thyroid and pcod.What foods to avoid consuming.I am a vegetarian.

A. Hello mam In thyroid if hypothyroid is there then avoid excess intake of cabbage, cauliflower, penauts, brocolli, mustard, mushrooms, radish, soya beans in the diet as they are goitrogens For pcos and thyroid management Have small and frequent meals Reduce the intake of salty foods like namkeen, achar, papad, fried foods, sweets and sugars, sugary drinks, wheat and daily products Have more of pulses, beans like rajma chana chola, sprouts, oats, quinoa, eggs , fruits and vegetables in the diet Workout for 45 mins to 60 mins daily to over come pcos Have dhaniya water in morning Take hypothyroid medicine empty stomach in morning and do not take anything after 30 min only
