#AskTheExpert Hello Doc , I feel like my baby is not gaining weight he was 13 kg when 2 years old and even now he his is 13 kg. he is not on any multivitamin or iron syrup. does any multivitamin required ? Please suggest.

A. Hello mom babies are normally given multivitamin for atleast in the first year of life .. later after that it’s given only if required . After the age of one kids put about 2 to 4 kg yearly

A. Hi, the weight seems to be okay. Once they start playing their weight will increase and decrease. No need to give any multivitamin syrup. Make a timetable and follow to give five solid feed in a day in between that you can give milkshakes, fruit juice, buttermilk and water. Take your baby out to play for about half an hour or one hour in a day and expose your baby to sunlight which is a natural vitamin. By making timetable you can cover all type of veggies and fruits and dry fruits equally and so that the baby gets nutrients from all the fruits and vegetables and pulses.Write Your Answer Here
