Q.

#AskTheExpert he is 17 months but still doesn’t walk fully? He stands up with a support but not himself. He is crawling and does walk around the bed and tables by holding on to them but never without holding? Should I be concerned? Please advise?

A. the child will be able to sit with support by age of 5-6 months without support by age of 7-8 months, able to crawl by 9-10 months and walk independently only after one year of age till then wait n watch at times certain babies may skip the milestone of crawling and will begin to stand with support and then without support and work independently thereafter which is considered as normal you should not worry. at times the milestones can get delayed or achieved early also.variation can be commonly seen in the particular age group according to the growth patt>ern of the baby.. but if it is delayed beyond the range then you should consult doctor to get your baby e examine once and for clearing the doubts.
