#asktheexpert Have got 1st dose of covishield. Just want to know is it safe to breastfeed my 7 months baby and if feeded will there be some effect on my baby

A. Hi Yes now There is data available for covid-19 vaccination related effect on lactating mother /expected mothers- to baby. Hence better to take vaccination if mother is lactating or pregnent. Just avoid vaccination in first trimester pregnency.t
