A. Hair loss in babies is very common and because of many reasons. Because of the withdrawal maternal hormone initial hairfall is there. After birth all the hair of the baby remain in the resting phase and usually by 8 to 12 weeks of age shedding of hairs is there . ng Hairs will grow back mostly by 3-7 months but a proper quality hair will be there by around 2 years of age. Cradle cap is also a cause for frequent shedding of hairs. along with traction alopecia because of continuous pressure on head in lying position

A. Give foods rich in Vitamin A, C, E, zinc, iron, and biotin aid with hair fall treatment and promote hair growth. Coconut oil cleanses pores and nourishes the scalp. It acts as a hair conditioner and even fights against dandruff. The oil aids in hair follicle growth and regulates hair health. Or you can also use olive oil which strengthens hair, prevents hair fall and nourishes the scalp. Consult your doctor whether your kid can be given any vitamin, zinc or iron supplements. Mix Amla juice with coconut oil or almond oil and apply on your kid's hair.
