Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. it is not advisable to give gripe water to the child on the regular basis because at the end it is a type of medicine which will help in decreasing the colic pain and improve digestion but ydes it has got side effects so do not give this without medical consultation.
it contains sodium bicarbonate as well as plenty of sugars whichh has got side effects for such a small child.
