#AskTheExpert Goodmorning Ma'am.. My daughter 5 years completed but weight is only 13.6 .. which type of food should be given to gain weight?also she had iron deficiency too ..

A. hi as a child is having low weight and iron deficiency ,you should offer green leafy vegetables , beetroot , nuts ,dried fruits , fruits like apple, banana, papaya etc to your child. it is best to give food like boiled potato, sweet potato, rice ,soya , etc for Healthy weight gain. you can also give two or three days with one tbsp of ghee in it daily in morning, it will help in both to cure iron deficiency as well as to increase your child weight.
