Q.

#asktheexpert good morning sir/ ma'am my baby is just 3 months old he passes hard stool and while passing he put more efforts but never cry so is it normal

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme pgyreparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given onlfy in medical supervision .

A. Totally normal with a small child the doctor say that whatever you mention in your question crying at the time of urination applying pressure or having hard motion is completely normal in this age for the child so nothing to be worried as of now
