Q.

#asktheexpert Good morning. My son is going to be 5 years old. He always keeps on shouting for even petty issues. Due to this behaviour we are feeling like that his voice is being changed. We are afraid that if this can cause any vocal chord problem. please suggest some behaviour to rectify this problem.

A. Encourage him through rewards. Keep a good behaviour box. Explain how he can be calm and kind and express his thoughts or views without raising his voice. Every time he behaves well give him a sticker or coin or a paper telling I am a kind boy. Once the box is full or once he collects some 10 or 15 coins u can give him a small gift.
