Q.

#AskTheExpert Good Morning mam I am a new mother of 1 month old baby, my problem is how can i understand that how much ml of milk my baby needs? As i am feeding 60ml, but it seems to be my baby is not getting enough milk as baby is demanding more. My question is how much more ml of milk can i increase? and can i feed formula milk and breastmilk together like if baby is not sufficient with formula can i feed breastmilk after formula?

A. Hi When you say 60 ML is it actually breastfeeding that you are talking about the formula feeding that’s not clear to me I would say for initial one month the appetite is approximately 30 ML for a target can increase over the period but if you feel your child is hungry even after 60 ML that’s a little unbelievable but you consult a lactation doctor 1
