#AskTheExpert good morning Dr My kid is 6 months old. what solid foods can I give her and how many times should the solids be given to her?????

A. Hello mom you have to first start with small quantity say a few tsp and then as the baby gets used to it you can increase the quantity and variety and number of meals and alternate it with your feed. First start with some liquids for them and then gradually move to semi solids and mashed foods , such as steamed and mashed vegetables or soups or fresh fruit juices or purée or porridge made with ragi or suji or multigrain mix , kichidi , curds , ghee
