#AskTheExpert Good morning ,Dr.,I need to ask that my thyroid level are increased these or hyperthyroidism is found in me ,so I have a question in my mind that is it harmful for my child whom I am breastfeeding.......I am really worried regarding that

A. it happens due to hormonal fluctuations. won't affect your child. but as this is a genetic issue so in future there are chances in kids to have hypothyroidism

A. Hi If you have thyroid during pregnancy it may transfer generically it’s not always happens No need to worry if you take proper medications there is nothing to worry about it Consult with your doctor in person for proper treatment see your own treating doctor can guide you more and can solve your problems better
