A. for good Growth of the child it is important that the child should get proper nutritional requirement which is very important for the growing child specially iron and vitamin D is required for better growth and cognition . also there is role of other micronutrients. one should ensure that the child should get a proper balanced diet which contains all types of nutrients essential for growth. any kind ofx infection specially any chronic infection shouldd be ruled out and treated which may hamper the growth otherwise. after 2 years of age you can give some powder like kids Pro/ prohance junior mix in milk twice a day for one or two months.

A. hi no they are not necessary. I personally believe that as far as a child is looking happy and active, gains enough weight , achieve age appropriate milestones then no need of any extra supplements or medicines. it would be best to give homemade healthy and well blanaced diet.
