#AskTheExpert Good morning doctor, my son Shourya is having white patches on his face.. Twice I took him to skin specialist. He opined that its natural phenomen and will be on his face till the age of 13 to 14 years.. My son is having dry skin problem.. Can you please guide me about the same? White patches on skin is fungal infection or nutrient deficiency in baby. So no need to worry. Just apply coconut oil on face. The anti fungal property of coconut oil will help to get relief from the fungal infection. Use pure coconut oil like extra virgin coconut oil.
Also give healthy and nutritious diet including all the food groups to provide all the nutrition to ur child
