#asktheexpert Good morning doctor. My baby is 3 months old now but she has started to chew her hands even though I fill her stomach. What is the reason behind this and how we can stop her without chewing her hands.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. If your baby isn't hungry, they could be chewing their hands as a simple game. Other babies chew on their hands as a form of self-soothing, which is a sign that they're developing well. This could happen when they're overstimulated and need to calm down.
