#asktheexpert Good morning doctor.. my 3 month old daughter has white patch on her cheek as seen in the pic pls kindly advice me what is the solution for this

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. kindly apply moisturizing lotion (any good brand like atogla, venussia, oliatum, sebamed , citaphil etc ) or virgin coconut oil on the skin 4 to 5 times per day. regular moisturizer helps in decreasing chances of dry skin as well as prevents dermatitis.
use moisturizing soap.
do not apply any type of cream lotion or powder which is causing allergy on the skin.d
avoid using hard water for bath.
moisturizing cream / lotion to be applied at more frequent intervalsd.

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello this can be due to skin dryness and you can be using mild and gentle baby lotion and cream which is made of natural ingredient and chemical free like babyhug and any concern it would be better to check with your doctor and she will be able to guide you
