Q.

#AskTheExpert Good morning doctor. Hope you are doing great. My daughter is almost 3 months old(2 months 3 weeks). Her night time sleep routine is from 10.30 pm to 7.30 am( hour less or more).when she is hungry she starts giving hunger cues at night (usually around 3-4 am)and I feed her. But from last few days she is not demanding feed at night but I still feed her twice like one time 3-4 am and second time near 6-7 am. My query is should I feed her like this even though she is not demanding? In the day she is demanding feed after every 2 hours and her weight is also increasing. I am exclusively breastfeeding her.

A. hi as babies grow their sleep and feeding patterns Change so as such no need to wake up her . feed your child on demand. burp your baby well after each feeding. make sure your child should pass urine at least 7 or 8 times in a day.
