#asktheexpert Good morning doctor Does start of period in young girls results in less body growth or no growth or it will not at all hamper growth of a child….please suggest..

A. There is absolutely no need to fear, because just because the child has got puberty will not stop her actual growth. The group can happen even until 21 years of age.
