#AskTheExpert Good morning doc,my son is 19months old & has not started talking yet. i am concerned. He started saying MAMA DADA when he was 8 or 9months old & after some time he stopped. He is very active n social. & also he rarely respond to his name.

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Keep trying. The only key is to keep communicating with ur baby regularly. Question him and urge him to answer. Talk to him about everything that u see around. Tell more stories. A continuous verbal conversation with ur baby will improve his vocabulary and encourage him to speak more.
