#AskTheExpert good afternoon sir, my daughter is 6 months old. sometimes the color of her poop is green? is it something to worry about. should i consult a pediatrician? when is it a cause of concern if the stool color is not yellow?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. all ok. and no nedd to visit paediatrician. yellow, mustard yellow, Orange,green, dark green, brown are normal color variations of babies stool.
try to breast feed longer from one side.

usually it is normal
so as such no need to worry.
As it is caused by imbalance between foremilk and hindmilk.
I advise to offer feeds from each breast atleast 20 minutes so your child can get full fat hindmilk well.
make changes in your diet too as it could be a reaction to food which you ate
please stop introducing new food for now.
