#AskTheExpert gm.. kindly help me . My daughter is 21 days old ...she is getting tears in her eyes at certain intervals...is it normal..or should I consult my doctor?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. this occurs due to nasolacrimal duct obstruction which is very common in children at this agex
it occurs due to obstruction of pathway (nasolacrimal duct) from eyes to the nose for which eyes massage is needed regularlyx and this problem goes away with increasing age of the child
meet your doctor for more information and also go through various videos which will also tell you how to massage the eyes to decrease the obstruction.
