please do not delay it any further and start brushing using a grain size of kids age appropriate toothpaste from now itself

sir ,tooth brushing begins right after first teeth eruption .
so as a child is 1.5 year old ,you should use soft bristled brush or if there is few teeth then you may use Babyhug brand silicone finger brush.
