A. weight and chubby child is not the only indicator of good health. if child is active playful, achieving growth milestones, not falling sick frequently, then do not worry. child's rate of growth is also dependent on genetics or how his parents have been in their childhood, parents body frame. For healthy weight gain, give your child a balanced diet having variety of food groups: grains and millets - 4 servings pulses legumes/egg non veg: 1-2 servings seasonal vegetables including green leafy vegetables: 1.5 serving fruits - 1 serving milk and milk products - 500ml sugar 4 tsp oil 5 tsp control intake of process packaged food.
