Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy11 months agoA. for fever and pain, administer paracetamol based on the child's weight and the medicine's strength, up to four times a day. sponge the body to reduce temperature. consider it a fever if the armpit temperature is 100°f or higher. use stronger medicines like ibugesic and mefenamic only after consulting a doctor. if there's no improvement after three days, consult your doctor. keep the child in a cool environment.
cough and cold medicines will be given by the doctor according to the need of the child and type of cold and cough
