#asktheexpert Dropping breast milk drops in eyes when seeing any hair or any redness in eyes of newborn, good or not recommended?

A. not recommended. kindly maintain hygiene of the eyes and clean it with with clean water. normally simple secretions / allergy redness should not occur again and again. use hygienic cloth as well as your hands should be clean when coming in contact with the child eyes if the child's eyes is sticky with pus discharge or regular discharge coming out you have to meet the doctor. examination is needed in case on eye infection . do not use any drops witout medical consultation

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Never heard of any such thing. It can be due to some eye infection in the baby. But it is really very difficult to say anything without proper examination of the baby. It is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advise properly.
