#AskTheExpert dr my daughter is faving nose blockage nd running nose from past 6 days...so i gave saline nasal spray now today is her 6 days so how many days shuld i continue...?still thete is blockage at night and during morning for this wouldn't sleep properly?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associatfred symptoms like cough and fever which needs trreatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
