Q.

#AskTheExpert dr my baby is 8 month old and her weight is only 5.5 kg and her BW is 2 kg...is she growing normal? what should i do for my baby weight gain..

A. Hello mom as she had a slightly low birth weight and hence the growth process could be little slower and generally Baby that is a full term Baby is expected to almost double their birth weight by the age of 4 to 6 months and then triple by the age of one year . currently along with your feed. The baby can be given semisolid to soft consistency then gradually as they get used to it. You may add more different variety and various food groups.
