#AskTheExpert does 1.5 years old get pinworm infection? i see my 1.5 years old son often scratching his anal region. please advise. how to tackle it?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. yes can be so for deworming helps baby for the worms . Can give syp bandy plus at night after meals and also repeat after 1 week and then every 6 months also. Maintain hand hygiene well

It is practically possible yes a child can definitely get an infection like this so it would be advisable as of now to get a check with your paediatrician because they only can give you an assurance over it and accordingly the right treatment and medicines can also be told to you so you can continue with them but for that definitely an expert opinion would be recommended
