Q.

#AskTheExpert Doctor when should we address the speech delay? my sis-in-law son is 2.6 yrs old. yet he is not telling Amma,thatha etc and not blabbering too.but all the other activities are good.

A. hi if a child can understand what you say well ,can make eye contact while talking , can speak few words like dada ,mama , Papa etc. then no need to worry. but as a child is not even babble at this stage of age.,it is advisable to visit your pediatrician.
