#AskTheExpert doctor please help me ....my baby is 2 year 11months old ..but he is not still talking... sometimes he only says MMA papa ....but when we both trying to teached him ..he don't show any interest.....please suggest me

Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Apart from communicating verbally, is he able to understand instructions or directions given? Is he able to communicate non verbally through facial expressions, hand gestures etc. ? If yes, spend more time with your kid. Keep talking about your daily activities. Point at different objects or things around the house and keep repeating their names. Read out story books to your kid and point at different pictures in the book and keep telling their names. Sing poems, songs and rhymes. If the problem still persists, contact your doctor or a speech therapist.
