#AskTheExpert doctor my wife is 21 weeks pregnant and she is experiencing a lot of itching in her belly and legs, and continuous cramping in lower abdomen. she has a low lying placenta with maturity grade 0. thank you.

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist2 years agoA. Eating could be because of pregnancy hormones, but sometimes it could also be because of liver disorder, which is a serious condition so she has to consult gynecologist and get the necessary test done. As far as cramping is concerned, if it is very severe than it should be showed to the doctor.
