#AskTheExpert Doctor, My son is 16 days old and his stomach is bloated most of the time and there is gas built up. Is this normal? please find the attached picture

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. baby is now 16 day old so gas is a common issue and affects all new born babies. avoid bottle feeding . Burp baby well for 15 mins after each feed. Can do cycling motion of legs. Can make baby lie on tummy to relieve gas. Give gastica drops 1 ml for ease.
Colic pain is worse at night and needs drops meftal spas 1 ml . Give mother feeds only
