#AskTheExpert Doctor my kid is 2 year 7months old. He is not even babbling, just yells at us if we distract. We took him to child development center, and gave him therapy for 4 months. Therapists told us that he has just speech delay. Not Autistic. Could you please guide us how to take care of his food and activities to make him speak. Thanks alot

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist4 years agoA. Hello mom , he would rather require a speech therapist and it’s would be good to consult as early the better . Also at home make sure he is chewing his food well avoid any Sort of grinded foods .
Also read age appropriate books to him , sing songs let him try to imitate you .. encourage talk with him
