#AskTheExpert Doctor my baby is facing teething issues. Her molars are erupting. She is almost 2.5 years old. But her gums are swollen and bleed. please advise

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 2.4 years old and she is teething for premolars and gums are swollen and bleeding so give her plenty of vitamin C fruits and use Histidine gargling and massage her gums with Dentogel lotion slowly

Bacteria in the mouth feed on sugar from food and form plaque. This can eventually lead to tartar, tooth decay, and inflamed gums that bleed when you brush your toddler's teeth.
