#asktheexpert Dear sir, our Baby girl is 1month (born- 30/08/2023)old and normal delivery happened. she is prematurely born (33 weeks) and weight is 1.7kg at the time of birth. doctors have not given the BCG vaccine to her since she is underweight. currently her weight is 1.9kg and can you suggest when to take BCG vaccine to her?

A. hi ideally, Baby should have weight around 2.2 kg or above for Vaccination so please consult your pediatrician and get it done as per his Suggestions only
